Rick & Laura Sue Mosier - When Rick & Laura Sue met in 2005, it was desire and intrigue at first sight. As much as they both tried to continue with their lives, there was never a doubt they would be together. But neither knew where life was to take them next. They had shared many a conversation about the future…what was ahead for both of them. Fate decided to give them a little nudge.
Shortly after Rick & Laura Sue were married, they decided a long weekend was in order and made reservations at a nearby bed and breakfast. Their experience prompted numerous conversations along with nervous excitement. This was it. Owning and running a bed and breakfast. What a great way to share a new life and showcase their talents of cooking, artistry and customer service. So they began their search together for the perfect location for their bed and breakfast. They have found it at the Schuster Mansion.
Now the hard part of telling family and friends or so they thought. The news was received with support and tears. As you can imagine, the tears were of joy and of sadness. A new chapter of life was ready to begin.
Rick - A native to Wisconsin, Rick learned his appreciation for country living from his family. Rick dedicated his career to running a family-owned retail business. He appreciates the value of high quality
service and understands what it takes to get a customer to come back for more. Enjoy Rick’s company over
a cup of coffee.
Laura Sue - You’ve heard of the saying, It’s all in the detail. Laura Sue is just that. Many of the finishing touches, the finer details or the delightful tastes of her cookie are what she thinks about and makes happen each day. All of this is possible because of her commitment to a small company she founded in 1999 that specialized in graphic design, which she still continues today. Lines & Designs, Inc. turns any business from never being noticed to taking center stage. But that is also how she makes every bride feel for years when she coordinates and helps plan their wedding. It will be exciting to come back to the Mansion again and
again as you never know what Laura Sue will create next to make your visit inetresting and exciting each
time you come.
Isaac - (the dog) has become the mansion’s mascot. He is a 1.5 year old, (Oct. 2007) Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
Highly intelligent, obedient, protective and devoted dog. When you ring the door bell, he will be the first one to greet you. Then he is off to find a toy, so you will play. For as much as Rick or Laura Sue, are training him to leave the guests alone, the guests find themselves wanting to play with him. A funny thing, the Innkeepers find that guests will leave their doors open so that by chance Isaac will come and visit a bit.
Winston - (the cat) Sorry to say for you cat lovers, you will not see Winston quietly walking the halls of the mansion. The Innkeepers have chosen to keep him only to their private quarters. Winston can be a bit too friendly.
